I’m a born & raised Alberta girl with a traveler’s soul. I’ve always wanted to “fly away” & see the world, which is how Vola Via was created (it means fly away in Italian). I was a Destination Wedding Travel Consultant for almost 10 years & still love planning the perfect itinerary for our travels.
I married my soul mate & best friend, Taso, 10 years ago! We are proud DINKWADS (Double Income No Kids With A Dog). Our Shih Tzu Alfie keeps us on our toes with his spicy attitude + constant need for attention. No matter where we go, they are my home.
My dream is capturing love stories around the world – elopements, intimate weddings, traveling couples & beautiful places will forever have my heart.

I’m a big believer in creating a “vibe” & savoring the in-between moments. There is beauty in the simplest things if you know how to look for them. Like the sun shining through your window on a Sunday morning creating the perfect frame. Or the moment you instinctively reach for your lover’s hand as you walk down a busy street. Life & love are built on the seemingly insignificant, day to day moments – and therein lie the most meaningful memories. If you couldn’t tell already, I’m a bit of a romantic.

A beautiful photo doesn’t need a lavish backdrop or conventionally appealing subjects. There is beauty in simplicity & I strive to highlight the beauty of the ordinary.
