A big part of traveling for me is capturing the experience to relive year after year. But when you’re traveling as a couple it can be really hard to get good photos! The go to options are selfies which never turn out as good as you hope & really limit how much you’re getting in the frame or having a stranger take the photo for you, but let’s be honest – they are never quite right. So on our last couple trips to Los Cabos, Mexico – my husband and I decided to practice our “self portrait” skills. 

We set up our camera on a tripod on the beach, set a timer & just had fun! Did we look ridiculous to bystanders? Probably…but it was more important to us to have beautiful photos of us together – so who the hell cares?! Looking at these photos, can you tell we took them ourselves?
