Vola Via Photography came to life after some pretty huge changes in my life. Mainly – COVID. I worked as a Leisure/Destination Wedding Travel Consultant for almost 10 years and then the world got turned upside down. The travel industry took a huge hit and suddenly I was unemployed. Looking back, it’s the best thing that could’ve happened to me but at the time I felt extremely lost. Most of my work experience was in the Travel Industry, which wasn’t going to help me at that time, so I decided to reevaluate what I wanted in life. I wanted a career that I was passionate about, that would allow me time, flexibility & the ability to travel. Photography checked all of those boxes! I had a TON of learning to do, not only as a photographer but also as a business owner.

Since then I’ve been pouring my heart & soul into building Vola Via Photography. I’ve learned some lessons the hard way, but I found a community full of so many wonderful humans who were happy to help & support me through it all. I am forever grateful for this journey.

During the process of creating Vola Via – I’ve also been recreating myself. This year, so many doors have opened for me and I feel so aligned in my journey. My vision, goals, and identity as a photographer have changed so much in just a few years, that I felt it was time to reintroduce myself & my business.
